Death is always perceived as a affliction subject, and in many ways, it is. Because to say the least, it is associated with loss, loss of loved ones, split and grief. But as I had been lately reading a couple of volumes that mainly tackled death and afterlife, it made me think near the whole subject from so many angles that I had antecedently overlooked. It made think that some clock times death can groom you understand life a bit. In one of these books, the heroine of the book tried to put an rarity to her life, thinking it would put an end to all the pain, the disappointments, and end to what she had perceived as a meaningless empty life. And in the other book, the whole story takes perpetrate in heaven, after the main character dies, and yet wherefore, in heaven that he starts to look back on his life, the things he had done and tell, the people he came into contact with throughout his life. alto deliverher then did much of his life started making sense, and only then did he wish he could turn back time and undo many of the things he had done or said to the people he loved. The first thought that came to my mind is; when mortal thinks that by taking their lives, how can they be so sure as shooting that the instinct dies along with the body?! The three monotheistic faiths (Christianity, Judaism & Islam) all speak of the existence of an afterlife, that the soul does actually live on. Conjuring all these thoughts, I putting myself in the shoes of these two characters, for a couple of minutes I started imagining what would be the emotions that would take over my soul after I die!
