This letter was written by Mike in Jan.12.1969 to his family, when he was participated to the Vietnam War. Mike was written this letter virtually the war and his mesh in the war. He was written his letter just about of his thoughts in his work. He thought, he whoremaster be a forge gunner in about 5 months for that squad and about 7 months he can be team leader. His letter showed lot of bad become was gotten when he was in this war. He missed his wife lots. We can understand that he didnt like the war. He was suffered lot. Stan was in the war. But his all thoughts surrounded with his wife.
But Mikes thought was totally opposite with Stans. Mike was very enjoyed his work. He didnt suffer with death. His ambition was something achieve in his work.

Jan 13, 1969.
I got the on package today, and it was really grateful. Last night we went to a fire team portal. Its consists of people. But I acceptt feel its safe. But corporal was trust in the change right away. I think that someone that has little more time in country and know what to do.
We are supposed to be out in the scrubbing for 4 days. We are guarding this road. Making sure no freedom fighter attack cast down anywhere near the Battalion foremost marines area. Every afternoon I got gate watch. We have to checked out the ID of the civilians going up and down the road.
