On the Jellicoe Road, Melina Marchetta, is a modern novel written in 2006 and explores enduring themes that occur in life, particularly identity operator and loyalty. On the Jellicoe Road delves into a town where parallels are drawn betwixt our protagonist Taylor and a group of children who lived there previously. Taylor, searching for her identity is surprised to scratch that she is inconceivably linked to the lives of these children. Her journey to find herself is supported by her friends, their unwavering loyalty and friendship aiding her in her passage to discover who she is.
