After coming home from shoal the other day, I started my daily ritual, homework, snack, and then I watched about T.V., though this time I paid close caution to the commercials. Most of the commercials were boring and tried to convince me to buy something, whether it was a car, or a computer. After awhile they in completely started to interlocking to noticeher as I tried to analyze them and feel which uses of propaganda were in them. Finally, one commercial stuck out, it was a commercial for a so called love the true test. After observation about an hours worth of commercials after that one, I knew that I would not be able to find a better example of propaganda.
Though this commercial was a dispel of about 2 minutes of my life, I can call every last detail about it, considering that I watched it and took notes on it about 5 times, thank goodness for TiVo! As I recall the commercial started out with a couple all snuggled up on the couch watching T.V., when all of sudden a commercial for a love accuracy test came on. The misfire being curious decided to school text in both her name and his, which after doing so she got a immediate response saying you two are 3% compatible.
The girl didnt take this text communicate seriously, so she puts her phone down and snuggles back up to her boyfriend. The succeeding(a) scene shows the boyfriend running away from a chapel service in a tuxedo, fear written on his face, and the girl in a wedding dress chasing after him. The snap up bride soon gives up her chase and collapses in crying on the steps, as if to silently say Oh, why didnt I heed that text messages warning!?
This commercials sole purpose was to scare the curious watcher; it too showed several propaganda techniques. The first technique I noticed was fear, they filtrate to scare you into thinking that they know all, so there for you must listen to them.
